Stephen Caldwell tried a Swiss Rösti for the first time while on a business trip abroad, and immediately fell in love with this Swiss national favorite. As a foodie (since age 5) and amateur chef, Stephen wanted to learn how to make Swiss Rösti so he could share it with his family. After a year of experimentation, Stephen, along with his wife Lory, successfully duplicated the unique, Swiss-style crispy potato snack, and wanted to share it with others.
Stephen’s modernized version of the classic Swiss Rösti uses contemporary preparation techniques, spices and fillings to bring a totally new taste to the marketplace. Rösti Stuft Spuds are made with simple ingredients, vegetarian, gluten-free and contain no trans-fat or artificial flavors. They come in three scrumptious varieties: Melty Swiss Raclette, Melty 3 Cheese, and Stuffed Baked Potato that are enjoyable for breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as after school snacks or appetizers.
Rösti Stuft Spuds is a family owned and operated business with Stephen, Lory, and their five children — who were instrumental in tasting and choosing flavors. They give back to their community by partnering with the Oregon Food Bank.
