Sue Gee’s Sauces — Portland

After moving to the United States from Seoul, South Korea, and opening the Cameo Café in NE Portland, Sue Gee often found herself craving the spicy flavors from her own country. So, she began making flavorful sauces inspired by her home in Seoul to season her daily meals. When friends and customers began to notice and ask questions about the sauces she was using, Sue decided to make larger batches of her sauces, spices and kim chi, and provide them as regular condiment items in the restaurant. Now, after more than thirty years in the restaurant business, Sue Gee Lehn has made her mark on the Portland food scene, and is expanding her dream to bring her spices and sauces to grocery store shelves everywhere.

Sue’s mission has always been clear: to create simple good food products infused with spices that reflect her own passion and love for the sweetness of everyday life. She hopes that her bold flavors will spice up the lives of those who taste them, inspiring a spirit of love, generosity and positive energy. As a gracious, dynamic and somewhat eccentric host that often gifts her restaurant customers with a hug and lively conversation, Sue is happy to provide delicious foods and Sue Gee’s Sauces at a great value.
