MOJO & Amplify
MOJO & Amplify
Our MOJO and Amplify programs help local food and beverage makers jumpstart their ventures and bring quality products to market. As an active participant in Oregon’s vibrant food community, we’re passionate about growing our local economy. Since 2017, our MOJO and Amplify programs have sponsored thousands of partnerships, and we’re always looking for the next visionary to get behind.

MOJO Program
The MOJO program supports Oregon’s startups through guided marketing development, targeted funding, distribution solutions and visibility through email, Savories Weekly, our website and social media accounts.
We know that a strong local economy depends on the vision, talent and hard work of local food and beverage makers. But, getting to market doesn’t come easy. Some of the biggest challenges new business owners face are finding platforms from which to launch their endeavors, and distributing products. As one of the first retailers to provide market-entry shelf space to new, locally made products, our one year promise ensures makers space on our shelves for a minimum of one year, giving them time to generate revenue, build brand awareness and increase production capacity so they can expand distribution both regionally and nationally.
The next best-selling product on our shelves may come from locations outside of our store boundaries. Our distribution options break down geographical barriers and provide MOJO makers from across the state to shelve their products in as many of our stores as they wish, at no cost to them. We currently have nearly 800 products made by Oregon’s entrepreneur community running through our distribution program. Some makers choose to deliver their products to our stores themselves, others deliver their products to their nearest Market of Choice location and we take it from there, distributing their products to all eleven of our stores for them. These solutions go a long way to save local makers time and money while they grow their businesses.
Amplify Program
The Amplify program takes our commitment to supporting Oregon food and beverage makers to new heights by shining a spotlight on our BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and Women maker communities, when they choose for us to do so.
We recognize that some small business owners face unique geographical challenges and cultural barriers when bringing their products to market. That’s why we partner with local organizations that offer training, mentoring and financing to small business owners from marginalized communities. You will also see colorful icons and shelf tags throughout our stores highlighting products made by BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and Women makers, allowing customers to consciously choose to buy from these businesses when they shop with us.
Lifestyle Choices
Look for icons that indicate specific lifestyle choices, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free-friendly, gluten-free and paleo.
Amplify Program
To support the following self-identified local makers as part of our Amplify Program, look for BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and Woman Owned indicators when you shop.
