Hobbies really can turn into viable businesses, as Jake Newcomb of Portland has proven by transforming his love of making hot sauce on the side to a full-fledged business called Newks Hot Sauce.
Having been laid off during the pandemic from his job as a sound engineer, Jake launched a Newks Kickstarter campaign, securing enough funding within 24 hours to launch his company to make hot sauces.
Over the course of just two years, Newks Hot Sauce has become one of the Portland area’s most popular hot sauces and now can be found in stores across the country, including Market of Choice.
Newks Hot Sauces are vegan and made from all natural ingredients. Each is well-balanced and features fantastic flavor and spices.
