Proud Mary Coffee

Nolan and Shari Hirte founded Proud Mary Coffee in Melbourne, Australia, in 2009 and brought their boundary-pushing roasting style to Portland a few years ago — a perfect match for the Pacific Northwest’s deep love of exceptional coffee. Their lineup of Mild, Curious and Wild blends is crafted to meet every mood, from smooth and comforting to bright, unexpected and beautifully adventurous. Sourced direct from origin and roasted with precision, each coffee delivers layered, original flavor that celebrates the farmers and regions behind every bean.

At our Barista counters in Eugene, Corvallis and Bend, you can sip the approachable Humbler on drip — an everyday favorite with notes of chocolate fudge, caramel and dates and a luxuriously syrupy body that shines as espresso, too. Looking for something more daring? Ghost Rider lives up to its name with a bold, “loud and fruity” profile, a buttery, creamy mouthfeel and hints of red grape and stewed apricot. You’ll also find Proud Mary whole beans at our Portland-area stores, showcasing one of the city’s standout local roasters. Go ahead — taste what all the fuss is about.
