MOJO & Amplify
Since 2017, our MOJO program has helped hundreds of Oregon makers bring thousands of products to market. Through product development guidance (product, package & price), distribution support on Market of Choice trucks, and promotion (in store, social media, web), we partner with small businesses to turn great products into brands you can find on our shelves. MOJO is an integral part of our work to support the Oregon food system and elevate small businesses.
Amplify builds on this work by helping reduce barriers for BIPOC-, LGBTQ+ and women-owned businesses, creating more opportunities for diverse makers across Oregon.

MOJO Program
Oregon’s farmers, ranchers, fishers and makers are at the heart of what we do. MOJO makes it easier for local products to reach our stores statewide.
We partner with organizations like Built Oregon, GYRTM, the Food Innovation Center, Xcelerate Women and others to discover and support new makers each year. Today, about 15% of our products come from local brands
We also offer no-cost distribution support for makers across the state; saving time, lowering costs and helping businesses grow.
Many MOJO brands have built success and continue to thrive long after our program gets them to our shelves, including Pan’s Mushroom Jerky, Portland Pet Food Company, Ken & June’s Hazelnuts, Tan Tan Foods, Mizuba Tea, Marshall’s Haute Sauce, Ground Up Nut Butters and Pearl Soda Co.
Amplify Program
Some makers face added geographic and cultural barriers. Through Amplify, we partner with local organizations to provide mentorship, training and access to resources, helping expand opportunity across Oregon’s food community.
Look for in-store shelf tags that highlight products from BIPOC, LGBTQ+, veteran-owned and women-owned businesses, making it easier to shop with intention and support local.
Lifestyle Choices
Look for icons that indicate specific lifestyle choices, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free-friendly, gluten-free and paleo.
Amplify Program
To support the following self-identified local makers as part of our Amplify Program, look for BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and Woman Owned indicators when you shop.
