As a child, Reva Barewal suffered from abnormal jaw growth which made chewing painful and difficult to manage. This experience in her early life led Reva to pursue a career in dentistry where she currently specializes in chewing function and dental implants. Along her life journey, Reva also discovered a passion for the culinary arts, and attended French culinary school to become a chef. Her expertise in both of these fields would later merge and become the inspiration behind Savorease Therapeutic Foods.

By working with, and listening to her patients, Reva gained deeper insight into a swallowing disorder called dysphagia that affects millions of Americans — both adults and children. For many who suffer from this disorder, meal time is uncomfortable and less enjoyable as their diets are limited to soft foods.  Dr. Reva’s Savorease Therapeutic Foods has restored the joy of eating for many people affected by this disorder.

Savorease Crispy Melts are snacks designed by Reva and other experts in the fields of swallowing disorders, nutrition, and medicine and food science that are crunchy, savory and easy to eat. It’s the first of its kind, providing a satisfying crunch people crave that, within seconds, dissolves into an easy-to-swallow puree. You can pick up Savorease Therapeutic Foods for adults and kids, in a wide range of delicious flavors, at your local Market of Choice.
