Preferred images are:
A single image of completed recipe (i.e. cake). If possible, try to include large dish plus smaller portion of dish in a single shot with supporting elements. Cake example - image shot down, looking at a table laid out with a plated cake, beside it is a smaller plate with a single slice taken from the whole. Could also include supporting ingredients, napkins, silverware, but don't want to overcrowd image.

Photograph in bright, natural light, if possible, to get the sharpest image (photos taken at night, under florescent kitchen lights do not show a recipe in its best form).
