Andouille Jambalaya

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Craft & Kitchen Andouille-Sliced into ¼ in. thick slices
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper- Diced
  • 1/2 Yellow onion-Diced
  • 2 Stalks Celery-Diced
  • 1 t smoked paprika
  • .5t dried oregano
  • .5 t Dried Thyme
  • .25t Garlic powder
  • .25 t Onion powder
  • 1/8t Cayenne
  • .25t black pepper
  • .5t Salt
  • 15 oz. fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1C Long grain white rice
  • 1.5 Chicken stock
  • 2 green onion

Steps

  1. Sauté onion, pepper and celery in pot with oil for 3 min.
  2. Add sausage for 2 minutes. Add spices and cook for one more minute to toast spices.
  3. Add fire roasted tomatoes, rice, and chicken stock. Stir to combine.
  4. Place a lid on pot and bring to a boil. Turn down heat and let simmer for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, let stand for 5 minutes off heat
  5. Garnish with green onion
