Ingredients
- 1 pack Craft & Kitchen Andouille-Sliced into ¼ in. thick slices
- 1 Green Bell Pepper- Diced
- 1/2 Yellow onion-Diced
- 2 Stalks Celery-Diced
- 1 t smoked paprika
- .5t dried oregano
- .5 t Dried Thyme
- .25t Garlic powder
- .25 t Onion powder
- 1/8t Cayenne
- .25t black pepper
- .5t Salt
- 15 oz. fire roasted tomatoes
- 1C Long grain white rice
- 1.5 Chicken stock
- 2 green onion
Steps
- Sauté onion, pepper and celery in pot with oil for 3 min.
- Add sausage for 2 minutes. Add spices and cook for one more minute to toast spices.
- Add fire roasted tomatoes, rice, and chicken stock. Stir to combine.
- Place a lid on pot and bring to a boil. Turn down heat and let simmer for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, let stand for 5 minutes off heat
- Garnish with green onion
