Super Belly

Sarah Frost-McKee and Paul Trendler have created a one-of-a-kind business in Bend, Super Belly Ferments, the only probiotic dressing company on the market.

Partners for 16 years and raising two children, Sarah and Paul yearned to make the perfect sauce a way to share the health benefits of naturally fermented and probiotic foods with others.

“Our goal is to provide everyday-pour-on-everything condiments, and all-day-drinking beverages with strong nutritional and microbial foundations,” Sarah says.

Super Belly Ferments’ dressings and drinks fit many dietary lifestyles.

“All of our dressings are wild fermented, blended with pure avocado oil, and follow strict ingredient guidelines to support community members with vegan, keto, paleo, Whole30 and autoimmune-protocol type diets,” Sarah says.

In addition, the pair founded Local Culture, which produces fermented krauts, kimchi, sauces, tonic and small-batch fermented olives.

Ask a Market of Choice teammate where to find Super Belly and Local Culture Ferments’ in your grocery aisles.

Drizzle Super Belly Ferments’ tasty dressings on anything from salads to bowl meals. Flavors include Chive Lime, Beet Balsamic, Ceasar, Ranch or Goddess.

And the drinks? Served cold, they’re perfect on a hot day, Sarah says. Enjoy Lime, Lemon Cayenne, Pomegranate or Turmeric + Ginger.

“Market of Choice has been an incredible partner in our fermented foods journey,” Sarah says. “They’ve always been receptive to our new product ideas and have provided many learning opportunities for us along that way.”
